he did this all on his own (minus - i made the balls). he was so intent on lining all the play dough balls up perfectly. it seemed like he had a color scheme in mind as well. i used to straighten the corners of my favorite blanket and oscar is thrilled by putting things in straight lines. maybe a mathematician or maybe a minimalist architect. either way i can't get enough of him.

we are going to get a big boy bed for oscar for his birthday (i think). i found this one on line today and i love it. i want one for myself but they only come in a twin. so simple and the bench is genius.
we had a taste of spring yesterday so we headed to the zoo. we are lucky in stl to have a great zoo (when all of the animal remain in there so called cages! - cheetahs especially). and were were even luckier to have a 70 degree day in the beginning of march. so here we are with the beloved elphants as oscar calls them.
no zoo today however. cold, rain and potential sleet and snow. oh how drastic the weather is!!
waiting for spring to arrive. it has been gray and drab for days now. coffee doesn't seem to help anymore. spring where are you????????
so here is an update. all is well. the weather is totally up and down. oscar is sneezing every couple minutes. today is supposed to be 60+ it's january!!! school is in full swing for both anthony and i. i am working on another show. the opening is this friday. some images are below. oscar and i are headed outside to play for a bit before it rains for sure. now it is off and on sprinkles.
